Let's be real, not every project follows the same process. But generally, I find myself in these buckets when solving problems.
This is digging into the "why" behind the project, interviewing stakeholders, and figuring out if the problem I'm solving is even a real problem for users. Often there is a business decision that I need to ensure makes sense for our users.
Combining functional logic and aesthetics. Sometimes testing wireframes first, sometimes diving straight into UI concepts. My goal is making sure the interface is intuitive enough that a user can seamlessly navigate.
From testing competitor experiences to testing UI concepts, research can happen at many points in the process. The goal here is to find the best user feedback before time is spent building the wrong thing.
Once it’s live, it's time to measure impact through tools like Amplitude. This data usually feeds right back into step one for the next version.
